Modular design

The IP module in Spectra IV IP systems resides in the newly created Spectra IV IP back boxes. The part numbering scheme for Spectra IV IP back boxes and Spectra IV IP complete systems is simple: Add an “N” after the “4” in the back box or system part number. For example:

SD435-PG-E1 becomes SD4N35-PG-E1
SD4CBW-F-0 becomes SD4NCBW-F-0
BB4-PSG-E becomes BB4N-PSG-E

Spectra IV IP Software Update

It is imperative that you update the field demo units you have received with the latest software revision for the IP module. Software version .122 has several performance corrections that will allow your Spectra IV IP to produce better quality video and function properly in any network application. The software can be downloaded from the following link:

The software can be uploaded through the Pelco device utility. The process to upload new software to the Spectra IV IP is identical to the procedure you have been instructed to follow for updating the IP110 and IP3701.
